JBL ON STAGE

Take along the JBL On Stage IIIP portable loudspeaker dock and enjoy high-quality audio wherever you are. It's compatible with all docking versions of the iPod--including iPod touch, iPod classic, and iPod nano G3--and iPhone. And thanks to a stereo mini jack connection you can also play music from a variety of other devices, such as CD players, desktop computers (all platforms), satellite radio, and notebooks.

The JBL On Stage IIIP comes with an IR remote that has several modes of operation. Music mode allows you to control the volume, change tracks, fast forward, and fast reverse. The navigation mode allows you to access menus on your iPod just as if you were controlling the unit itself. You can search your music, watch your slideshows, and find and play your videos.

The system uses six AA batteries and allows up to 12 hours of continuous play at normal listening levels. An amber LED flashes when the battery protection circuit senses that the batteries are low. You also have the option of powering the On Stage IIIP from a standard wall outlet using the included power supply and cord.

Browse and subscribe to podcasts, then sync them to your iPod nano. You can even play video podcasts on TV using an optional Apple component or composite AV cable.

Photos
iPod nano holds up to 7,000 photos you can sync from your Mac or PC via iTunes. Use the Click Wheel to scroll through photo thumbnails. To see a photo full screen, click the center button. You can even view your photo slideshows — complete with music and transitions — on a TV using an optional Apple component or composite AV cable.

Extras
Calendars, contacts, and a screen lock appear in the Extras menu, along with a few more handy items. Take the world clock, for example. Spin the Click Wheel to choose different clocks for cities all over the world. For workouts, use the built-in stopwatch to log your best times.
