PLAYSTATION 3 is all about connectivity, interaction and the content and services offered by PLAYSTATION®Network. Step into Network and get connected.
Once your PLAYSTATION 3 is configured to your liking it will be ready for you to get online and join PLAYSTATION®Network.
The Network category on the Home Menu is where you'll find some of the PLAYSTATION 3 system's most innovative features. As well as a link to the online Instruction Manuals, Network connects your PS3 to your PSP, and takes you online to the wide world of the Internet and all the exciting content in the PLAYSTATION® Store.
The [Internet Browser] lets you head out on to the Internet. Surf all your favourite websites, create [Bookmarks] for your top destinations and open multiple sites in up to six windows for quick browsing.
Once you've signed up to the PLAYSTATION®Network in the Friends category of the Home Menu, you can access the PLAYSTATION®Store. Here you'll find free game demos, High Definition movie trailers, plus loads of bonus content for a range of games. You can also purchase and download full and exclusive PLAYSTATION 3 games.
Network is where you'll find Remote Play so you can experience the power of PLAYSTATION 3, including all your saved photos, music and movies, in the palm of your hand on PSP.

Video
PLAYSTATION 3 is not just about the games, at its heart beats a powerful Blu-ray Disc player plus a 60GB Hard Disk Drive (HDD) to look after your other video files.
PLAYSTATION 3 has a Blu-ray Disc Player built in. Watch your favourite films in true High Definition (up to 1080p depending on your television). With a massive capacity on each BD, allowing up to three hours of HD video plus nine hours of Standard Definition (SD) bonus material to be stored on one double layer Blu-ray Disc, you'll be sure of no disc-swapping interruptions.
Your visual entertainment doesn't start and end with the astonishing Blu-ray Disc Player. As the heart of your home multimedia enjoyment, PS3 is also the perfect place to store, organise and enjoy an array of digital video files. Store your existing digital movies on the PLAYSTATION 3 system's Hard Disk Drive, plus download new content from PLAYSTATION®Store including High Definition movie and game trailers.
You can also access video files stored on your PS3 via Remote Play with your PSP. Build a massive library of staggering visual entertainment on your PS3, and access it in a different location via PSP.

Music

With a Hard Disk Drive, PLAYSTATION 3 is the perfect partner for your music collection. Select the Music icon on the Home Menu of PLAYSTATION 3 to access your music and audio files.
Populating your PS3 with your favourite sounds is easy. Simply pop in an audio CD and the icon will pop up in the Music category. Find the track(s) or album(s) you want, press the TRIANGLE button on your SIXAXIS Wireless Controller and copy to PS3. The same goes for tunes stored on connected devices such as PSP, Memory Stick, USB drives and other compatible storage devices.
You can also access the music collection on your PS3 via Remote Play with your PSP, including the Visual Player.

Photo
A picture can paint a thousand words thanks to the PS3 system's ability to store, organise and display your digital photos.
With a Hard Disk Drive (HDD) at your disposal, PLAYSTATION 3 is the ideal home for all your photographic memories. Transfer your images from your Memory Stick via an array of other devices - such as your PSP, digital camera, camera phone, USB drive, etc - via the relevant cable into one of the USB ports.
Once stored on the PS3 HDD, you can organise the photos into folders, view in an array of slideshows and even send to your Friends on the PLAYSTATION®Network.
You can also access images stored on your PS3 HDD via Remote Play with your PSP. Your digital photo albums, holding years and years of memories are now literally at your fingertips.
